Your Passion = Your Purpose

What are you passionate about? What motivates you to see change?

Did God give you a burden for the lost? A desire to speak? Is there a subject that every time you hear it, something inside of you rises to the occasion?

Passion is described as strong and barely controllable emotion. Passion is what makes your energy arise and have a desire to speak up, shout out, and take action.  It makes you come alive. It can either fill you for the need for change and the need for wanting more. Passion is the key to seeing the God given destiny inside us all.

They call the life and death of Christ, The Passion. It is the burden of God lived out for his sons and daughters. It was his whole mission to see the people He loved reconciled to Him. God knew the need of His people and tried to get them to change. He tried with kings, priests, judges, and sacrifices. He told the people of The One who is to come to take away the sins of the world, hoping they would see His plan. When Jesus came, He showed the people all over Israel He is the one. He was passionate about healing the sick, raising the dead, and telling them of what Heaven looked like. Passion for us, is what kept Jesus on the cross at the crucifixion. Finally, it was passion that raised Jesus from the grave to reveal the promise fulfilled.

What does this have to do with you? Do you ever wonder where your passion comes from? Do you ever think that you could make a difference in the lives of those around you by living your life passionately?

The Proverb says, “Life motivation comes from the deep longing of the heart, and the passion to see them fulfilled urges you onward.”

God placed a calling on the inside of you to see people to know Him through you. He placed your passion inside you to show you his heart for others. Whether big or small, it matters to Him.

I had this moment in my life when I asked God what my calling is? What am I supposed to do on this earth? What is your plan for me? God said, “What are you passionate about? What do you have in your hand to use for my Kingdom?” It dawned on me, while I was waiting for the big billboard in the sky to give me an assignment, the assignment was already inside of me and already in front of me.

You may think the focus of your passionate in is small, or unspiritual, or just plain silly. But what if God is giving you the keys to your destiny. What if God is giving you this passion because it has to do with what you are “called” to do and who He destined you to be.

So, here are my two questions?

1. What are you passionate about?
2. How can you use your passion to see change in the world you live in?

Keep your passion burning and let it be a flame 🔥 to push you onward into your destiny.
