Planning on your Dreams

Almost every morning I wake up, I am thinking about the day. What needs to be done, calls that need to me made, or things that are weighing on my heart. And, depending on the way I slept (good or bad), how it will all get accomplished. Most mornings I am usually quiet. I love the sound of stillness as the husband and children have not awaken yet. I am always in reflection or mediation of my Father and just listening as He speaks to my heart.

Today, the quote  resounded in my head. “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.” – Winston Churchill

Commit your works (plans) to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. Proverbs 16:3 AMP (emphasis mine)

I make plans, I plan to get out of debt and increase in salary, I plan to make more time for my family and  to build relationships with them, and I plan on my future and the dreams of my heart to come to pass.

I continue to plan. Even when the dreams seem distance and not reality. I continue to plan even when my bank account says ‘0’ balance and it seems bleak. I continue to plan as my kids may be going through hard emotional times and my marriage is struggling, I continue to plan. I trust that my Father knows my heart and hears me when I call. I trust that He can see the Future and His plans for me are connected to the plans in my heart. That these desires and dreams are placed there by Him. I continue to plan.

My thoughts, “I continue to plan and have hope even when it doesn’t look like anything is happening. Trust God, He is moving. Plan on the Father knowing your heart and wants to give you the desires and hearts plans.

I love Matthew 8:7-12 ( my paraphrase) Ask, and He gives, seek and you will find, and knock and it will be opened. What dad who’s son asks for a bread gives him a stone? He is a good Father, the best. He wants to give us our dreams and wants. Trust that when we plan like we already have it, it will be given to us.

My thoughts: Stopping wishing, thinking that God will bring your dreams to pass like a genie. Make the plans and take some steps toward that plan, and see God show you how your plan and His plan collide.
